We are pleased to announce, that due to the success of the inaugural 2022 Down Under Winter Classic the 2023 Classic will once again be held in the sunny state of Queensland.
The tournament will be run in the July 2023 school holidays and this year will host over 40 Travel ball teams from all over Australia, New Zealand and the US. The contest will be held over 7 days at 2 different venues throughout the Gold Coast.

The Gold Coast is renowned for being a top family holiday destination. Make the most of your time on the Gold Coast by creating some family memories whilst watching your children play baseball at an elite level.
This style of tournament is designed for families to promote a fun baseball event both on and off the diamond.
Tournament Information
The tournament will take place in the July school holidays from Saturday 1st to Saturday 8th July 2023.
Tournament Duration
The tournament is run over 7 days with a guaranteed seven (7) pool games and one (1) play off game.
Participation
Mandatory 50% total tournament participation.
Innings
The tournament is run over 7 days with a guaranteed seven (7) pool games and one (1) play off game. (Weather permitting).
No Tied Games
All games are played out for a winner. There are no tied games.
Please note: Pre-tournament training dates will be provided at your teams discretion.

Supporters merchandise will be available for online purchase closer to the event date. Check back periodically for purchase link.
Tournament Fees
Notifications will be issued early in 2023.

Please read the following terms and conditions in regard to the 2023 Down Under Winter Classic carefully.
Registration Fees. The $250 deposit is only refundable up until Friday 24 February 2023 as costs relating to your child’s registration will start to incur. Any cancellations made after Friday 24 February 2023 will result in a loss of deposit.
Payment schedules: A $250 deposit has been secured on your registration. There will be 2 additional payments after this date. 50% on Friday 3 March 2023 and the balance due on Friday 2 June 2023.
Amendment/Cancellation Fees: We are unable to provide a refund to you until we receive the funds from the relevant supplier.
Amended or cancelled bookings will incur charges to the individual. These charges can be up to 100% of the cost of the booking, regardless of whether travel has commenced. CWT Meetings & Events (CWT M&E) reserves the right to charge cancellation fees over and above those charged by wholesalers, tour operators, airlines, cruise companies etc. Fees will also apply where a booking is changed or tickets are re-issued.
Fees and Charges: Payment via credit card will incur a surcharge of 0.78% for MasterCard, Visa and 1.7% for American Express.
Privacy Policy: CWT M&E is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of personal information. However, some personal contact information such as email addresses may be shared among participants in the Down Under Winter Classic 2023.
